The gas producing dry cell

The gas producing dry cell has the size of an ordinary hearing-aid battery. It uses electro-chemical principles to generate hydrogen gas or oxygen gas. Compared to its modest size, it generates a remarkable volume of gas, which is delivered on demand, without the need of an external energy source. The cell is very suitable for economically delivering liquids and pasteous substances, and as a source of hydrogen gas, respectively oxygen gas.

Gas producing dry cell  functionality

The cell is activated through an electric short-cut of the two external poles, thus starting the gas production. The gas volume in relation to time is defined through an external resistor (Ra). The higher the resistor setting is, the slower is the gas production, which is in direct relation to the electric power flowing through the cell. If the circuit is interrupted, the gas production stops instantly.

Applications

The gas producing dry cells
Gas generator – The standard gas generator for various applications. The gas production can be steplessly adjusted. The produced gas is used to expert pressure on a piston or membrane.
simalube – The automatic grease and oil dispenser: economical, simple, universally applicable, environmentally friendly.
Infusion systems – Medical infusion systems, powered by a gas producing dry cell, allow a slow, continuous infusion of medical solutions into the body. Applications cover both human and veterinary medicine.
H2 reference probe – The gas cell produces pure hydrogen gas which can also be used for measurings and sensor technology as well as for analytic applications in laboratories.
Aromino – The cartridge system with the technology of the dry cell and the controlled heat evaporation, guarantee an optimal and even distribution of the fragrance throughout the room.
New developments – Do you see other possibilities for the use of the gas producing dry cell? Have you got other ideas? Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We would be happy to propose a solution ...
